Acceptance into the IS program is based upon recommendation from a student’s current school site counselor.  Parents may request a meeting  with the counselor, and if a student is determined to be a good candidate for IS, the  counselor recommends the student to the Alternative Education office.  Students must continue to attend their current school until the acceptance process is complete and a start date is determined.
