Bonita 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders celebrated their AR reading achievement with a Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Party! Mr. Freeberg's room was for dancing, Ms. Perez' for snacks, & the IMC for Legos & a movie. Capri suns, popcorn, fruit snacks, glow sticks & glasses made for a fun Friday!
Bonita students enjoyed having guest speakers read to them this morning as they participated in Read Across America.
Barrington students had a great time at the sports theme AR Party! They played games, won prizes, and enjoyed a treat.

Orestimba's gym is packed with students as they learn about different career paths from numerous professionals at the 2nd Annual Apprenticeship/Career Expo.
Von Renner students had a lot to celebrate with reclassifications, AR goals met, and brag tags during their assembly. They also learned about the importance of problem solving and the difference we can make on the lives of others when we choose to solve problems.
Bonita students enjoyed painting rocks as they practiced a mental health technique while spreading kindness to others.
All four elementary sites celebrated students who were reclassified as fluent in English. A great night sharing successes and dinner. Congratulations Students!!! 🌟📚

During a mental health activity, Yolo students were encouraged to write or draw their goals on a piece of paper and then make it into a pin they can wear to help them stay focused on achieving those goals.
