CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE
MEASURE P
The Newman-Crows Landing Unified School District Measure P Bond Oversight Committee represents the community with the responsibility of ensuring that allocations of funds provided by the passage of Measure P (which reauthorized the remaining bond funds from Measure R) are expended as outlined in the measure.
The District will issue the remaining $11 Million in bond funds over 2 issuances. The first will be in April, 2017, in the amount of $5.5 million. The first project will be the completion of the library building at Hurd Barrington Elementary. The contractor for this project is C.T. Brayton.
MEASURE R
The Newman-Crows Landing Unified School District Bond Oversight Committee represents the community and has the responsibility of ensuring that allocations of funds provided by the passage of Measure R are expended as outlined in the measure. The 25 million dollar bond was passed to upgrade and renovate classrooms, necessary health and safety improvements, and construct a new school. The contractor for the new grade school is C.T. Brayton & Sons, Inc. Co.
The District received $10,393,000 from the sale of bonds in May of 2009 and $3,907,000 in June 2010.
