Students at Hunt Elementary were visited by former The Voice competitor Missy Robertson this morning! Missy told her story of competing and following her dream and encouraged students to focus on being kind to one another despite any differences they may have.
Downtown was flooded with purple and gold for the OHS homecoming parade. Homecoming football games start tonight with JV kicking off at 5pm against Waterford Varsity at 7:15pm

It was a very Kind school board meeting last night, as Von Renner students and staff talked about the importance of kindness on their campus this year, sang a song on kindness and presented Board Members with very kind books. Our district spelling bee winners were also recognized

Today the Newman Fire Dept. visited Von Renner Elementary for their last Fire Safety and Prevention Assembly. As NCLUSD winds down Fire Prevention Week we'd like to thank all who were involved in this wonderful week. Special Thanks to Fire Chief Bowen and all his firefighters!
