May is Mental Health Awareness Month!💚
In honor of mental health awareness month, elementary students learned that we all have mental health and that we should take care of it just like we take care of our physical health. Students made calming jars, stress balls and learned that sometimes our emotions can get out of control and give us “glitter brain,” but if we give ourselves a break and use a positive coping tool our emotions will settle and calm down (just like the glitter in the calming jars) and we will once again be able to see and think clearly.
Mental Health Workshops available 5/9-5/13.
