We had an exciting morning. KAT Country 103 came out and we got to do The Pledge of Allegiance live on the radio. Carlos the Cougar also came out for the occasion.
We had our championship Connect Four Tournament Games today for 5th & 4th grades. It was very exciting!! We saw some great sportsmanship. So proud of our Cougars!! 🐾

🌍🫶🏼🐾 Today is World Kindness Day! First a little history, it was introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement. World Kindness Day is an annual event that encourages individuals to practice kindness in their daily lives. It highlights the importance of empathy, understanding, and cooperation to create a more harmonious and caring world. Here at Von Renner we are all about supporting and nurturing good deeds, acts and kind habits. Early this morning Mrs. Dianna Hartsook Henriques and some of our Von Renner Elementary School Cougars were busy writing kind encouraging words and cheering as our Cougars came into school. Happy Monday!! Von Renner Students will be able to sign up for our Annual Connect 4 Tournament this week on Tuesday 10/29, Wednesday 10/30, and Thursday 10/31 during their morning recess. This is a single elimination tournament that will begin on November 4th. This tournament, like many other activities, is a great way to educated and motivate our students on the importance of attending school, as well as showing good sportsmanship. Thank you parents/guardians for continuing to instill the importance of attending school to your students.

TK-K students had a little dance party during their morning recess and were then able to color the Red Ribbon Week banners once they returned to class. 1st-5th grade students pledged to be drug free by writing their name and decorating their RRW Banners during their morning recess. Banners have been hung near the main gate for all to see.
