I would like to announce the Staff Spotlight for this week: Congratulations to Ms. Brooke Rocha!! Ms. Rocha is our resource teacher here at Hunt Elementary. Ms. Rocha, thank you for what you do!! Hunt Elementary appreciates you!!

These students were selected by our wonderful cafe staff, Mrs. Samano and Mrs. Rocha. Each student was chosen for their excellent behavior during lunch and breakfast times.

TK student, Izabella Medina: Izabella always shows kindness and respect towards her peers and teachers. She is always helpful and respectful as well! Congratulations Izabella!
Our next spotlight winner is: 4th Grade student Angel Kajol! Angel is always polite, helpful and kind. She is a good role model to her peers and she always follows the rules and is always respectful. Congratulations Angel!
Our final Student Spotlight for the week is in 5th Grade. Congratulations to Benjamin Armenta! Benjamin has good manners and is always helpful and responsible when putting the playground equipment away. He always follows the cafe rules and he helps clean up without being asked.

This week, Hunt Elementary hosted the annual
Spelling Bee Competition! Congratulations to all students who participated in the Spelling Bee!! The top four spellers who will represent our district at the County Spelling Bee are: Roselyn Garcia Haro, (Hunt), Diego Hernandez (Hunt), Paulina Reynoso (HBE) and Nathan Huerta (Bonita). Thank you, Mrs. Van Ruler and all staff who helped to make this event so special for our students!!

Every Wednesday we will be announcing our Student Spotlight winners. The Student Spotlights are chosen by our yard duty, and cafe staff every week. Every week, each Student Spotlight wins 5 tiger tickets!

Congratulations to:
1st Grade: Jahayra Castro- Jahayra is a model student! She is a great role model for others as well. She knows the school rules and follows them every time.
3rd Grade: Kayla Reid- Kayla is always very kind. In the past few weeks, Kayla has been doing an especially great job during her recess and lunch times. Kayla always follows the rules and her kindness shines.
Our final Student Spotlight for the week is in 4th Grade. Congratulations to Nijash Garcia! Nihash is such a great helper and he has been showing great responsibility. He does such a wonderful job supporting his peers and he is a role model student in the cafe and at recess.
